Mr.Meowmistean's Bar « Thread Started on Aug 18, 2009, 6:08pm »
Kai unlocks the door to his average apartment on the first floor. He walks in and shuts the door, almost instantly he hears "meeeew..... meeew!!" he tries to ignore it for a second so he can set down his candy. "meeeeewwww!!!! MEEEEEEWWW!!!!" and Mr.Meowmistean tackles Kai's leg and begins clawing. "Mr.Meowmistean, stop! I'll get your food as soon as i have a hand free." he said as he tried to walk into the kitchen to set down his bags. After a moment of fighting with the cat and the plastic bag he was able to get a hold of the cat food and give mr.meowmisten his daily numms. "so today i finally went into that new japanese store in the mall.. the one with the candy, you know ive been talking about it for weeks... well i got all i could. it wasnt as delicious as i would have liked, not as sweet you know. anyways how was your day?" Kai said without expecting an answer. he stared over at the door for a split second before someone walked in.

"Ahhh, its you.. and your home. you forgot to feed the cat again... he was starving and practically ripped off my leg when i came in. " Kai smiles up at Amelie while pulling out some candy ad leaning on the bar. "I hope your day wasnt too awefull and such Amelie. I know mine wasnt" Kai sets his hand on Mr. MEowmisteans head and rubs his cheek with his thumb. Kai turns around to grab some ramune and tosses one to Amelie. Kai opens up his drink and starts drinking it slowly so he can taste all the sugary goodness in it.

"Gracias..wow I've become spanish", Amelie pop's the top then watched the marble become fizzy with small clear bubbles in awe. " Love this drink, you know what that cat scares me", Amelie wispered in Kai's ear so Mr.Meowmistean couldn't hear. " You know he can speak right".

"Ohh yes, I've known that for some time now. Its the reason i took him home. you remember how he was a local stray, all sad and alone with no one to get love from." Kai looks down into his Ramune' and thinks about when he first met the poor kitty and how he would always run up to people but never get attention, then one day Kai noticed him and bought him a can of food while he was getting his weekly supply of candy. Kai and Mr. Meowmistean became best friends and Kai swore he heard the cat talk on more than 10 occasions about the food, or weather, or his clothes, or even how ignorant Kai was sometimes. He would comment on how Kai never really noticed anything more than candy, hell Kai got robbed one day and the only thing he was sad about was droping his candy. He remembers when Kai didn't know what to do about the first time Amelie came on to him. Kai just didn't understand it, so Mr. Meowmistean tried to explain but Kai is just way too thick headed. "thoes were sad lonely days for you hu Mr. Meowmistean?" Kai pets Mr.MEow's head as he eats.

Amelie narrows her eyes at the cat " yeah..but he talks to much sometimes." Gulping down the last of her drink she thought about how scared she was going to be. Every night the cat would sit on the end of her bed, looking at her with big yellow eyes telling her things she really didn't want to know. she knew something about the cat that Kai didnt. She was going to tell him tonight... "Want to go to the movies?"

Kai scratches Mr.meowmisteans head "is it ok with you? will you be ok by yourself for a little bit?" Mr.meowmistean purred and nodded his head. " sure Amelie, should I bring some money for myself or are you paying? and should i bring my own candy? the movie theaters is always stale" Kai makes a sad face while putting on his jacket and grabbing his keys for the house and his wallet, he stuck both into his pockets and started leaving wether he needed them or not he didn't care.

" I can pay, just got done working" Amelie worked for an organization that no one spoke of. Kai just thought she worked for a book store. Looking at him grab his keys she felt a sharp pain in her chest. God every day she lied to him...having to lie to his smiling ,usually candy covered face. He was her best friend, the only friend she had actually. She grab a matching jacket from the coat hanger and followed him to the parking lot. " What do you wanna see?", she asked when getting in the car. It smelt like lemon drops and chocolate. Even the seats felt sticky from lollipops.

"Meh I'm not too sure, though I heard there was a great comedy out. We should just drive over there and see whats in, if its nothing but horror films again i would rather not go... You know me and my horror problems." Kai thinks back on the few times he watched horror films and remembered his late nights of crying ad sweating, and nightmares. He remembered this one movie about how the mirrors had some sort of demon in them, after seeing that movie he couldn't stand to be in the bathroom alone. it still haunts him to this day. He shudders in his seat from this thought as he pulls out a Twix candy bar." You know, we don't spend as much time together as we used to. I miss watching you play those zombie games and kick butt at them. Though afterwords you would have to comfort me and watch a romance or something to calm my nerves. I know you don't like them but thank you for always doing that." Kai smiles and giggles a little bit.

" Oh right. You love Moulin Rouge." She smiled at the thought of poor Kai hugging her waist. Funny how someone bigger than her scared of little flesh eating zombies. " I kind of wanted to see that new horror film though", she only said that so Kai would get scared and hold her hand. sometimes she would pretend they were together when they went out, enjoying girls envious stars over the cute Kai. If only they knew that Kai didn't love anyone, just his candy. Sighing she rolled down the window, letting the cold Alaskan air nip at her small nose. " Hey a 7/11 pull over!", she yelped waving her hand in front of him. Kai swerved a little, his brown eyes wide....

"Gah!!! Amelie don't do that!" He pulls into the 7/11 and stops. "well if you really want to go see it I might be able to sit through it,but I'll probably end up having to sleep with you tonight you know that." he gets out of the car and locks his door. "Ohhh! wanna brain freezie!? My treat! i want a cherry one, ohh and reeses pieces! and ohh so much candy for the theater!!!" He smiles and runs into the 7/11 before Amelie is even half way out of the car. The sliding doors open and let him in like gods gates opening with their magic wonderful golden frames and he thinks he heard angels singing a hymn just for him about the sweet sensational amazing goodies the store holds for him, only him, to eat.
